A atividade lúdica na sala do jardim de infância: a taxa de ocupação das áreas básicas de atividade

Abstract

No âmbito do Mestrado de Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1ºCiclo do Ensino Básico, elaborou-se este relatório final da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada II (PES II). Este é constituído por um enquadramento teórico do contexto em que se desenvolveu a PES II, pela escolha e fundamentação de planificações orientadas para o trabalho de investigação, por um trabalho de investigação e por uma reflexão final da PES I e da PES II. No trabalho de investigação aqui incluído, estudou-se a atividade lúdica na sala de jardim de infância, através da taxa de ocupação das Áreas Básicas de Atividade (ABA). Para o efeito, adotou-se uma metodologia de natureza quantitativa. A população foi constituída por 18 crianças da sala dos 5 anos de um jardim de infância do concelho de Viana do Castelo, com idades compreendidas entre os 4 e 5 anos. Recolheram-se os dados através de uma observação do comportamento lúdico das crianças, durante um período de tempo consecutivo, e através da análise de uma entrevista sobre as preferências lúdicas do grupo. Os resultados evidenciaram que a área das Construções foi a que teve maior adesão no quadro geral, sendo as áreas da Plástica e da Casa aquelas que tiveram menor taxa de ocupação. Constatou-se ainda que as preferências das crianças coincidiram com aquilo que elas realizaram. As crianças permaneceram em atividade lúdica durante 89,5% do tempo total de observação, reconhecendo-se a elevada importância que a ludicidade ocupa na infância.

According to what has been established to the Master degree in PRE-K and Primary School we have been asked to write a final report about the Supervised Teaching Practice II (PES II). This consists of a theoretical framework in the context that has been developed PES II, the fundamentals and the choice of lesson plans, whose main goal is the research work itself and a final reflection of PES I and PES II. In the research work included here, we have studied the activity of play in the kindergarten, through the occupancy rate of Basic Areas of Activity (BAA). To achieve it, a methodology quantitative, has been adopted. The population consisted of 18 children, aged between 4 and 5 years, belonging to a 5 year-room of a kindergarten in the local council at Viana do Castelo. Data has been collected through observation of children’s playful behaviour, during a consecutive period of time and through the analysis of an interview about the playful preferences of the mentioned group. The results showed that the area of Construction was one towards which children showed more interest. While the areas of Plastic Art Skills and the House had a lower rate of occupancy. It was further observed that the preferences of children matched with what they had previously done. The children stayed in playful activity for 89.5% of the total time of observation, recognizing the high importance it holds in the childhood.
