Educação empreendedora: um projeto desenvolvido com crianças do pré-escolar

Abstract

O presente Relatório foi integrado na unidade curricular Prática de Ensino Supervisionada II, do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar. O mesmo encontra-se dividido em três partes, sendo que na primeira é apresentada uma caraterização do contexto educativo da PES II, na segunda é descrito o estudo realizado e, por último, na terceira parte, é apresentada uma reflexão sobre a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada. Este estudo tem como problemática compreender o contributo da implementação de um projeto no âmbito da educação para o empreendedorismo para fomentar a apropriação social do espírito empreendedor por crianças em idade pré-escolar. Para refletir sobre esta problemática foram formuladas as seguintes questões de investigação, (1) Que competências empreendedoras manifestam as crianças ao longo do desenvolvimento do projeto? (2) Que dificuldades são identificadas nas crianças ao longo do desenvolvimento do projeto? (3) Como se caracteriza a articulação entre o projeto e a abordagem das áreas e domínios do currículo? O estudo enquadra-se numa metodologia de natureza qualitativa, com carácter exploratório. Participaram nesta investigação, 19 crianças, com idades compreendidas entre os cinco e os seis anos de idade, pertencente ao contexto educativo onde se realizou a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada. As principais fontes de recolha de dados foram a observação participante; o acesso a documentos, como registos biográficos e notas de campo; entrevistas semiestruturadas; e registos fotográficos, áudio e vídeo. No que diz respeito à análise de dados, foi possível verificar que as crianças demonstraram motivação e interesse nesta temática inovadora, empreendedorismo. O projeto desenvolveu-se de forma espontânea, partindo dos interesses e ideias das crianças. Ao longo do projeto verificou-se que as dificuldades que as crianças mais demonstraram centraram-se na comunicação das suas opiniões, compreensão do significado de sonho e empreendedorismo, saber escutar e capacidade de iniciativa. Concluiu-se através dos resultados do estudo que durante o período em que as crianças realizaram o projeto foi havendo sempre uma evolução significativa da aquisição de competências empreendedoras.

This Report is part of the unit course Supervised Teaching Practice II, of the Master in Preschool Education. It is divided into three parts, in the first part we present a characterization of the educational context of PES II, in the second part we describe the study and, finally, in the third part, we present a reflection about the Supervised Teaching Practice. This problem studied aims to understand the contribution of the implementation of a project in entrepreneurship education to foster the social appropriation of the entrepreneurial spirit of children of preschool age. To reflect on this issue the following research questions were formulated (1 ) What entrepreneurial skills do children manifest throughout the project's development? (2) What difficulties are identified in children throughout the project's development? (3) How can we characterize the articulation of the project with the development of the curriculum areas and domains? The study is follows of a qualitative methodology, in the frame of an exploratory study. The participants involved in this research, it were a group of 19 children, aged between five and six years old, belonging to the educational context of the Supervised Teaching Practice. The main sources of data collection were: participant observation; access to documents, such as biographical records and field notes; semi-structured interviews; and photographic, audio and video records. Regard is data analysis, it was found that children demonstrated motivation and interest in this innovative theme, entrepreneurship. The project was developed spontaneously by the children, based on their interests and ideas. Throughout the project it were found that the difficulties that children showed more was the communication of their opinions and understanding of the meaning of dreams and entrepreneurship , listening skills and capacity for initiative. We concluded from the results of the study during the period in which the children performed the entrepreneurial project that there was a significant evolution of the acquisition of entrepreneurial skills.
