Abstract: O presente estudo corresponde ao relato de um relatório, desenvolvido no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada II, em contexto de jardim-de-infância, tendo como finalidade a obtenção do grau de mestre em educação pré-escolar. Este estudo teve como ponto de partida uma atitude de reflexão crítica de contexto educativo onde se desenrolou a prática pedagógica, procurando favorecer no grupo de crianças o aparecimento de comportamentos emergentes de literacia, desenvolvendo competências de linguagem oral, consciência fonológica e conhecimento sobre o impresso e desenvolver a motivação, através da implementação da área da escrita e da melhoria da área da biblioteca. As tarefas realizadas foram estruturadas de acordo com os interesses e necessidades das crianças. Estiveram envolvidas quinze crianças, sendo que a amostra da investigação se centrou unicamente em cinco crianças com cinco anos, finalistas da Educação pré- escolar. Neste estudo optou-se por uma metodologia de investigação-ação de natureza qualitativa e utilizaram-se como técnicas de recolha de dados, a observação participante, o registo fotográfico, notas de campo e produtos das crianças. A recolha de informação foi efetuada durante a prática pedagógica composta por sete tarefas, implementadas durante o período de outubro de 2011 a janeiro de 2012. Através deste estudo pode-se verificar que as experiencias de aprendizagem no âmbito da leitura e escrita contribuíram para um maior desenvolvimento de competências de literacia. Em suma, este estudo teve como preocupação as necessidades de aprendizagem das crianças em torno da literacia emergente, e desta forma, contribuir para o desenvolvimento e sucesso das crianças no processo ensino/aprendizagem.
The present research work was developed under the Supervised Practice Teaching II, in the context of kintergarden to obtain a master's degree in preschool education. This study had been started with an attitude of critical reflection of the educational context where unfolded the pedagogical practice, always looking promote among children the appearance of emergent literacy behaviors, developing oral language skills, phonological awareness and knowledge about the form and develop motivation, through the implementation of the area of writing and improving the library area. The activities performed were structured according to the interests and children´s needs. Fifteen children were involved, and the sample of the research has focused solely on five children with five years finalists of preschool education. The methodology used in this study it was the of action research and qualitative techniques were used as data collection, participant observation, the photographic record, field notes and children's products. The information collection was performed during the teaching practice comprises seven tasks, implemented during the period of October 2011 until January 2012. Through this study, it is found that the learning experiences in the context of reading and writing contributed to the further development of literacy skills. In short, this study was concern the children's learning needs around the emergent literacy, and thus contribute to the development and success of children in the teaching / learning process.
