Rabiscos de Poesia : Um passo para a criatividade

Abstract

O presente trabalho de investigação completa um estudo intitulado “Rabiscos de Poesia: um passo para a criatividade”, que ocorreu numa turma do 5º ano de escolaridade, constituída por catorze discentes e que teve como principal objetivo dar um pequeno passo para a criatividade dentro de um género literário que a turma não tivesse ainda trabalhado neste ano letivo - a poesia, tentando motivar os alunos. Assim, definiram-se como principais objetivos: i) compreender as primordiais razões que levam os discentes a escolher o género literário da narrativa em detrimento da poesia; ii) desenvolver atividades que estimulem os discentes para a criatividade na escrita de poesia; iii) fomentar o gosto e interesse pela poesia. “As crianças, hoje, crescem depressa, para serem adultos cedo. (…) As sociedades modernas estão a matar a palavra, a imaginação e a sensibilidade, ingredientes fundamentais de uma educação global para uma cidadania lúdica, criativa, humanista e feliz”. (Franco, 1999, p. 7) Este foi um dos grandes motivos que levaram a que neste estudo fluíssem diversificadas atividades, relacionadas com o género literário da poesia, ao longo da prática pedagógica na disciplina de Português e no Clube Rabiscos de Poesia, que decorria na hora de Direção de Turma. Deste modo, as tarefas propostas foram ao encontro dos objetivos traçados e contribuíram para o esclarecimento e transmissão da importância da poesia no dia a dia de cada aluno. Todo o trabalho desenvolvido, de natureza qualitativa, conseguiu, de certo modo, desconstruir desinteresses e cativar os discentes para a magia e a criatividade em que o texto poético os pode envolver. Apesar de não se poderem comprovar concretamente os resultados, dado o curto espaço de tempo para atuação, foi possível percecionar as razões que determinam as escolhas dos discentes, bem como as influências que recaem sobre as suas escolhas. Assim, este estudo aponta ainda para o que deve eventualmente ser mudado, para que os discentes atinjam uma aprendizagem mais enriquecedora e abrangente.

The present research completes a study entitled ”Scribbles Poetry: a step for creativity”, which occurred in a class of fifth grade, consisting of fourteen students and had as main purpose to take a small step for creativity within a literary genre that the class had not worked this school year – poetry, trying to motivate students. Therefore, defined as main objectives: i) understand the primary reasons that lead students to choose the literary genre of the narrative instead of poetry; ii) develop activities that encourage students to creativity in poetry writing; iii) promote the taste and interest for poetry. “Children today grow up quickly, to become adults soon. (…) Modern societies are killing the word, imagination and sensitivity, key ingredients of a global education for a playful, creative, humanistic and happy citizenship.” (Franco, 1999, p. 7) This was one of the main reasons that led that in this research, diversified activities/tasks related to the literary genre of poetry flowed along the pedagogical practice in the discipline of Portuguese and in “Scribbles Poetry Club” that occurred at the time of class management. Thus, the proposed tasks were to meet the established objectives and contributed to the clarification and transmission of the importance of poetry in the daily lives of every human being. As the poetic text is treated with minor importance when compared with other genres, this research aims to demonstrate that poetry is part of every person and that if we do not enjoy it, we cannot live life to the full. All the developed work, of qualitative nature, managed, somehow, to deconstruct detachments and captivate students to the magic and creativity that the poetic text can involve them in. Although one cannot actually prove the results, given the short time to act, it was possible to perceive the reasons that determine the choices of students, as well as the influences that fall on their choices. Therefore, this research also points to what eventually can be changed so that students achieve a more enriching and comprehensive learning.
