Motivar para escrever: um olhar mais global

Abstract

O presente relatório foi realizado no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º ciclo do Ensino Básico. A prática foi desenvolvida em dois contextos educativos, apresentando-se neste documento uma síntese das intervenções realizadas nos dois contextos, destacando-se as áreas de intervenção planificadas, e descrevendo-se em detalhe o estudo de investigação desenvolvido durante a intervenção em contexto educativo (ICE II) e que designamos por “Motivar Para Escrever – Um Olhar Mais Global”. Este projeto de investigação centrou-se na área do Português, e coloca como problema a aprendizagem do processo de escrita enquanto atividade envolvente e motivadora. Face a este problema definiu-se um objetivo de investigação: Perceber se uma causa de natureza social, envolve, motiva e desenvolve nos alunos, o gosto por atividades de escrita. A natureza deste objetivo conduziu ao planeamento de três objetivos específicos que orientaram a recolha de dados: 1) Promover a produção textual contextualizada; 2) Criar ambientes criativos de escrita; 3) Incentivar a escrita autónoma em contextos informais. Tendo em conta o problema e os objetivos definidos para este estudo optou-se por uma metodologia de investigação qualitativa, de natureza interpretativa, privilegiando-se a observação participativa, os registos audiovisuais, os documentos escritos, e os questionários efetuados aos alunos. No final do estudo foi possível constatar que uma causa de natureza social motiva os alunos e envolve-os em atividades de escrita, despertando o gosto por este processo e potenciando atitudes positivas face ao Português.

This report was carried out within the scope of the Supervised Teaching Practice of the Master's Degree in Pre-school Education and Teaching of the 1st cycle of Basic Education. The practice was developed in two educational contexts, presenting in this document a synthesis of the interventions carried out in both, highlighting the areas of intervention planned and describing in detail the research study developed during the intervention in the educational context (ICE II) designed “Motivate To Write – A More Global Look”. This research project focused on the Portuguese area and poses as a problem learning the writing process as an engaging and motivating activity. Faced with this problem a research objective was defined: To understand if a cause of social nature involves, motivates and develops in students, the taste for writing activities. The nature of this objective led to the planning of three specific objectives guiding the data gathering: 1) To promote contextualized textual production; 2) Create creative writing environments; 3) Encourage autonomous writing in informal contexts. Taking into account the problem and the objectives defined for this study, a qualitative research methodology was chosen, with an interpretive nature, focusing on participatory observation, audiovisual records, written documents, and questionnaires made to students. At the end of the study it was possible to verify that a cause of social nature motivates the students and involves them in writing activities, arousing the taste for this process and enhancing positive attitudes towards Portuguese.
