O design como principal fator na criação de uma linha de mobiliário inserido num estágio curricular

Abstract

O trabalho desenvolvido na empresa JMS, sob a forma de estágio teve como efeito o reconhecimento do grau de mestre em Design Integrado. Ao longo deste relatório é apresentado: a empresa onde realizou-se o estágio curricular, processos e materiais utilizados pela entidade nas suas construções e peças, todos os projetos e os seus desenvolvimentos construídos ao longo do estágio, até a apresentação do projeto final de estágio e todo o seu processo de criação e construção, a conceção de uma coleção de cadeiras, a Liberi, que consiste na criação de uma gama de cadeiras que possibilita e liberta diversos atividades e momentos entre pais e filhos, tais como a amamentação. O projeto final, coleção Liberi, desenvolvido no terminar deste estágio foi um acumular de conhecimentos adquiridos tanto no percurso académico, como durante o período do estágio. Além disso, foi importante a aprendizagem, o trabalho de campo e o conhecimento de todos os processos desde a criação de um produto até a sua construção e todo o mundo em volta do design de mobiliário.

The work developed in the JMS company, in the form of an internship, had the effect of recognizing the Master's Degree in Integrated Design. Throughout this report it is presented: the company where the curricular traineeship took place, processes and materials used by the entity in its constructions and parts, all the projects and their developments built along the stage, until the presentation of the final project of internship and its entire process of creation and construction, the design of a collection of chairs, the Liberi, which consists of creating a range of chairs that enables and frees various activities and moments between parents and children, such as breastfeeding. The final project, the Liberi collection, developed at the end of this stage was an accumulation of knowledge acquired both in the academic course and during the internship period. In addition, learning, fieldwork and knowledge of all processes from the creation of a product to its construction and the whole world around the furniture design was important.
