Aprendo e descubro, In and Out : articulação de atividades dentro e fora de sala de aula

Abstract

O presente relatório foi desenvolvido no âmbito da unidade curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.ºCiclo do Ensino Básico, da Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo. Este relatório encontra-se divido em três momentos. Num primeiro momento, descrevem-se os dois contextos educativos bem como as áreas e os conteúdos programáticos que foram implementados. No segundo momento, é apresentado o trabalho de investigação realizado, e no terceiro momento encontra-se a reflexão global das práticas de ensino implementadas em dois contextos educativos. O trabalho de investigação insere-se no domínio da área curricular de Estudo do Meio. O Estudo do Meio, tal como o nome indica, deve permitir ao aluno conhecer o meio natural que o rodeia. Para isso, é crucial que existam atividades realizadas no espaço exterior. Este estudo pretende analisar de que forma é que os documentos elaborados pelo Ministério da Educação e o manual escolar adotado ao nível dos agrupamentos de escolas de Viana do Castelo exploram conceitos relacionados com a biodiversidade e a qualidade e degradação do ambiente próximo e identificar práticas ou atividades que se destinem a ser realizadas no exterior. Devido à situação despoletada pela pandemia SARS-CoV-2, e a impossibilidade de continuar com a intervenção pedagógica e a recolha de dados em contexto, foi necessária uma reestruturação e optou-se por recorrer à utilização de documentos como fonte de análise. Este estudo está inserido no paradigma interpretativo, numa metodologia qualitativa, onde foi privilegiada a análise de documentos, de um manual escolar e ainda de um recreio escolar. Dado que os resultados obtidos demonstraram que não existem propostas de atividades para se realizar no espaço exterior, e com o intuito e a necessidade de serem colocados em prática outros objetivos não abordados no manual, foi elaborada uma proposta didática que visa corrigir esta lacuna.

This report was developed in the scope of the Supervised Teaching Practice course of the Master's Degree in Pre-school Education and Primary School Teaching, of the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo. This report is divided into three moments. In the first moment, the two educational contexts are described, as well as the areas and the programmatic contents that were implemented. In the second moment, the research work is presented, and the third moment is the global reflection of the teaching practices implemented in two educational contexts. The investigation work is part of the curriculum area of Environmental Study. The Study of the Environment, as the name implies, should allow the student to know the na-tural environment that surrounds him. For this, it is crucial that there are activities carried out in the outdoors. This study aims to analyze how the documents produced by the Ministry of Education and the textbook adopted at the level of the school clusters of Viana do Castelo explore concepts related to biodiversity and the quality and degradation of the surrounding environment and identify practices or activities that are intended to be performed outdoors. Due to the situation triggered by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, and the impossibility of continuing with the pedagogical intervention and the collection of data in context, a restructuring was necessary and it was decided to use documents as a source of analysis. This study is inserted in the interpretative paradigm, in a qualitative methodology, where the analysis of documents, a school manual and a school playground were privileged. Given that the results obtained showed that there are no proposals for activities to be carried out in the outdoor space, and with the intention and need to put into practice other objectives not addressed in the manual, a didactic proposal was developed that aims to correct this gap.
