Do Estado Novo à Democracia: Educação Histórica e Cidadania Global

Abstract

O presente relatório descreve o percurso pedagógico realizado ao longo da intervenção em contexto educativo no ano letivo 2020/2021 no âmbito da unidade curricular de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada II, integrada no Mestrado em Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e de Português e História e Geografia de Portugal no 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. A investigação teve como objetivos principais consciencializar os alunos para a importância da liberdade que possuímos hoje em dia e mentalizá-los do valor da influência de indivíduos do passado para a criação da sociedade atual, tendo como base o estudo da Revolução de 25 de abril de 1974 e dos Direitos Humanos de forma a interligar e promover a Cidadania Global. Ao longo das sessões de intervenção, foram desenvolvidas atividades didáticas que promovessem o interesse e o envolvimento dos participantes nas mesmas de maneira que os alunos interiorizassem os conteúdos programáticos de forma mais divertida e motivadora. Como técnicas de recolha de dados, com base numa metodologia qualitativa, recorreu-se ao inquérito por questionário, à observação direta e à recolha documental produzida pelos participantes ao longo das sessões. Feita a análise dos dados recolhidos, concluiu-se que a abordagem e discussão da temática da Liberdade e dos Direitos Humanos proporcionou aos alunos a consciência da importância de direitos fundamentais para permitir aos cidadãos viverem numa sociedade mais igualitária e humana e planearem um futuro promissor.

This report describes the pedagogical path carried out throughout the intervention in an educational context in the school year 2020/2021 within the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice II, integrated in the Master's degree in Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and Portuguese and History and Geography of Portugal in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education. The main objectives of the research were to raise students' awareness of the importance of the freedom we have today and to focus on the value of the influence of individuals of the past for the creation of today's society, based on the study of the Revolution of April 25, 1974 and human rights in order to interconnect and promote Global Citizenship. Throughout the intervention sessions, didactic activities were developed that promoted the interest and involvement of participants in them so that students internalized the program content in a more fun and motivating way. As data collection techniques, based on a qualitative methodology, the questionnaire survey, direct observation and documentary collection produced by the participants during the sessions were used. After analyzing the data collected, it was concluded that the approach and discussion of the theme of Freedom and Human Rights provided students with awareness of the importance of fundamental rights to enable citizens to live in a more egalitarian and humane society and plan for a promising future.
