Arte floral: uma abordagem para a educação artística “Trabulando com as flores”

Abstract

A presente investigação foi elaborada no âmbito do Mestrado de Educação Artística, na Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo. A escolha desta temática surgiu pela falta de reconhecimento dos profissionais de Arte Floral, aliada a um desconhecimento da sociedade em geral de regras e técnicas desta área. Com esta investigação pretende-se demostrar a influência da Arte Floral nas nossas vidas, assim como a importância da formação específica. Neste sentido, esta investigação pretende contribuir para a valorização da Arte Floral e entender as tradições a ela associada. Através de uma Investigação-ação, foram clarificadas as dificuldades inerentes a esta área, com recurso a análises documentais, entrevistas semiestruturadas, notas de campo e sessões de Arte Floral. As entrevistas foram efetuadas a profissionais ligados à Arte Floral, permitindo o levantamento das fragilidades e vantagens inerentes ao setor. As sessões foram realizadas com um grupo de oito participantes. A observação do investigador foi participante, possibilitando uma relação mais informal e afetiva, contribuindo para a análise e resolução de problemas reais. Os resultados obtidos permitiram evidenciar as potencialidades desta área, como também a necessidade de formação para o contínuo desenvolvimento, crescimento e aquisição de conhecimentos específicos nas futuras gerações. Foram constatadas dificuldades neste setor, como a desvalorização social, que ainda existe nesta área, bem como a necessidade em ser promovida a Formação Artística e Profissional, para possibilitar a valorização de fatores estéticos, a criatividade e de competências de práticas artísticas. Com a participação de formações específicas é alicerçada a consciencialização e dignificação das tradições e respeito pela natureza e pela diversidade cultural.

The present investigation was carried out within the scope of the Master of Artistic Education, at the Escola Superior de Educação of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo. The choice of this subject arose from the lack of recognition by Floral Art professionals, alied with an unfamiliarity in general of rules and techniques in this area. This investigation intends to demonstrate the influence of Floral Art in our lives, as the importance of training in this area as well. In this sense, this investigation aims to contribute to the appreciation of Floral Art and helping to understand the associated traditions there are linked to it. Through an Action-Research, the inherent difficulties of this area were clarified, using document analysis, semi-structured interviews, field notes and Floral Art sessions. The interviews were carried out with professionals that were linked to Floral Art area, allowing a documentation of the inherent weaknesses and advantages of the sector. The sessions were held with a group of eight participants, the researcher's observation was participant, enabling a more informal and affective relationship, contributing to the analysis and resolution of real problems. The obtained results allowed to check the potential of this area, as well as the need for training for the continuous development, growth and acquisition of specific knowledge in future generations. Difficulties were found in this sector, such as social devaluation, which still keeps going on in this area, as well as the need to promote Artistic and Professional Training, to enable the appreciation of aesthetic factors, creativity and skills in artistic practices. With the participation of specific training, awareness and dignification of traditions and respect for nature and cultural diversity are based.
