Atividades de animação de leitura no 1º ciclo : Contributo para + leitores

Abstract

O presente estudo f oi desenvolvido no â mbito da Prática de Ensino Supe rvisionada II (PESII), em contexto de 1º ciclo do Ensino Básico, concretamente numa turma de 3º ano. O trabalho de investigação foi desenvolvido na área de Português e intitula-se Atividades de Animação da Leitura no 1º ciclo- contributo para + leitores. Tendo-se verificado um re duzido interesse dos alunos em ler, realizou-se um estudo que teve como principais objetivos estimular os alunos para a leitura e promover hábitos e gosto por textos da literatura infantil. Para isso implementou-se um percurso constituído por atividades de animação da leitura. No sentido de melhor descrever e compreender o modo de motivar nos estudantes hábitos e gosto pela leitura formulara m-se as seguintes questões de investigação: I) De que modo se podem dar a conhecer obras literárias aos alunos; II) Que estratégias motivam os alunos para a leitura? e III) Como se podem fome ntar hábitos de leitura nos alunos? Optou-se por uma metodologia de investigação qualitativa de cariz descritivo e interpretativo, tendo-se acompanhado todos os alunos da turma. Como instrumentos de recolha de dados foram usadas observações, notas de campo, registos escritos das crianças, registos fotográficos e vídeo e inquérito por questionário. A análise dos dados permitiu concluir que houve, por pa rte dos alunos, motivação e envolvimento nas atividades de animação da leitura propostas. Verificou - se, ainda, que os alunos passaram a estar mais interessados em ler, dedicando mais horas à leitura de livros de literatura infantil.

This study was conducted in part of the Curricular Unit of Supe rvised Teaching Practice II (STP II), and was conducted in the Prima ry Education, more precisely in a 3rd grade class. The research was developed in the area of Portuguese and is entitled Animation Activities of Reading in 1st cycle – contribution to + reade rs. Having been a reduce d student inte rest in Reading, there was a study that had as main objective to encourage students and promote Reading habits and taste for texts of children´s literature. For this we have implemented route consisting of animation activities of Reading. In order to bette r describe and unde rstand how to motivate the students interest in Reading habits and formulated the following research questions: I) how one can make known literary students; II) what strategies motivate stude nts to Reading?; and III) how can encourage reading habits in students? We opted for a methodology of qualitative research-oriented descriptive and interpretive, having followed all the students in the class . As instruments of data collection were used observations , field notes, written records of children, photographic and video records and questionnaire survey. The analysis concluded that the re was , on the part of students, motivation and engagement in reading activities animation proposals . It was found also that the students began to be more inte rested in reading, devoting more ti me to reading books of children's literature.
