Abstract: This chapter aims to share a reflective view on the relevance of assessment from the perspective of inter- and intra-individual variability. At the sarne time, the frequency of the evaluation and its adequacy to the contents will be discussed. The chapter begins with a simplistic deconstruction of inter- and intra-individual variability concepts and how their complexity accentuates the challenge of programming and planning. Subsequently, the periodicity of the evaluations is debated according to the time and resource limitations inherent to any pedagogical intervention. Also, in this section, an attempt will be made to discuss how the contents may govem the periodicity. Finally, a reflection on the rhythms and ways of evaluating is shared.
